Storytelling isn’t a tool, but an art. InFrance, it’s an art that has been lost (parents will read a book to kids, but inherited stories are less common). In the last hundred or so years, the oral tradition has been replaced by the written word.

Because storytelling is an art, it is best that trainings involve either a trained professional or teachers who have been trained by storytellers. Otherwise, the training won’t have the same results.
